A Great Rustic Location for a Ceremony (Durham Region)
June 8, 2015
Just visited the site of The Carver’s Cottage with one of my awesome couples who’ve hired us for their Wedding in September and I was blown away by the personalities of the owners and how unique the property was. They host wedding ceremonies here all summer long and have a fantastic setting with a rustic cabin and handcrafted pavillion overlooking a tranquil pond complete with a waterfall.
I will warn you, the photos on their website don’t do the place true justice, but it’s worth a drive out to check out, you’ll thank me for it later :)
During the site visit I had the chance to connect with Steve from Country Harvest Catering (Based out of Bowmanville) he seemed like a real pro and was asking informed questions and seemed very interested in making everything the best it could be for our couple.
Also had the pleasure of meeting two fellow members of the Quinte Bay Bridal group and it was great to get a chance to connect. Courtney from Token of Love Wedding and Lisa from Aspen Florist are both seasoned pros and go the extra mile for their clients, I had a great time chatting with them all.
